Painted Pieces Services
Lacquer
We specialise in raised gilt lacquer work. We use the traditional methods tried and tested over centuries. The raised decoration is created using hand made gesso, gold leaf is then applied to the gesso and then the motifs are drawn into to create the desired image.

Decoration
We hand decorate furniture using traditional motifs from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Whether you require floral motifs on satinwood or on a painted ground or simple but elegant coach lines, then we can offer what you require.

Gilding
Apart from gilded lacquer work we also offer any form of gilding on furniture using 22 carat gold leaf. We also offer contemporary finishes using white gold, palladium , platinum , silver and metal leaf.

Restoration
We provide a comprehensive restoration service for all painted or decorated furniture. It doesn't matter how bad a state the piece is currently in, in most cases we have the skills to bring it back to the beautiful piece it once was.
